2 Pugs Coffee is growing, and we need a new manager to lead the team at our new thriving cafe in Meadow Springs, just north of Mandurah.

**About 2 Pugs Coffee**

Since opening in Feb 2023, 2 Pugs Coffee has grown from strength to strength. We are loved by locals and have a thriving regular customer base. We are known for our amazing coffee, relaxed atmosphere and fresh, tasty food. The owner/manager needs the extra help to enable the business to carry on growing and our high standards to be kept to.

With a very busy breakfast and lunch trade 7 days a week currently, and the potential to expand our drinks offering as we are now licensed, we are wanting to continue to thrive. Customer service is top of the list of what our staff must focus on, as we aim to give a memorable experience every time a customer visits us, whether just for a takeaway coffee, or for breakfast.

2 Pugs Coffee is looking for an experienced Assistant Cafe Manager. In this role, you will directly assist the owner/manager in leading our small but energetic team to deliver the top notch customer service everyone expects from us whilst ensuring the venue is well looked after and maintained.

**About The Role**:

- No splits or night shifts (occasional evening shift for catering events but very rarely)
- Staff discount plus free coffee and meal on shift
- A vibrant small team who love to learn and grow.
- Flexible rostering to allow a good work life balance.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Hiring and training the Front of House Team
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the venue at all times.
- Ensure service runs smoothly
- Be creative in helping bring new ideas to the table to enhance the venue and the customer experience
- Recognise and reform areas of the venue that need to changed to improve performance.
- Weekly ordering, stock control and rotation
- Rostering - maintaining wage costs within budgets.
- Directly work with owner/manager & head chef to ensure smooth running of operations.

**About You**
- Must have experience in a similar style venue or role within hospitality sector
- Communicate, interact & lead our small team effectively.
- Be confident in your skills of managing a busy shift whilst ensuring the venues high standards are kept too.
- Be professional at all times
- Good time management and ability to prioritise
- Be creative in coming up with new ideas
- Passionate about helping the business grow and achieving new heights.
- Must be willing to learn and learn quickly
- Must be available throughout the week.

Desirable attributes
- RSA and Approved Managers Card. (If don’t currently have, must be willing to get as we are a licensed venue)
- Experience in rostering and ordering.
