**About the role**

PHM Health and PHM Health Australia is proudly moving into Day and Centre Based programs. As we are a dynamic and personalised service, we are looking for a coordinator who will embrace this every day. As the services have not had such program in place, you’ll have the exciting and rare opportunity to create a program from the very beginning.

As part of the management team, you will lead our person-centred Life Skills Centre for youth and adults with a disability, where you will be responsible for developing, facilitating, and monitoring programs that provide social and life skills to our participants.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for all operations and functions of the service, including but not limited to:

- Developing out of the box programs that fit best practice plus the needs of the participants
- Coordinate delivery of services which includes our social calendar and overseeing future activities and programs
- Primary participant and family contact for the centre
- Collaborate and liaise with internal and external service providers
- Coordination of customer bookings and supports
- Oversee program content and the achievement of participants individual goals.
- Supervise, manage and develop a team of staff

**About you**:
Ideally, the successful applicant will have the following experience:

- Experience working in the disability sector
- Proven ability to effectively manage and mentor a team of staff.
- An out of the box imagination that can develop, implement and coordinate fun, interactive and inclusive programs for people with a disability
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with people with a disability using a person centred approach
- Can manage billing to ensure program sustainability
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Services Standards and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

**Essential requirements**:

- NSW Working With Children Check (employment version)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current NSW Driver Licence
- Australian working rights.
- Must be vaccinated for Covid-19

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $90,000.00 per year
