**Dog Hydro Bather & Daycare Attendant Wanted**

We’re The Pet Pad: a trusted dog salon and daycare that’s been operating in Newstead for 20 years. We're currently undergoing exciting renovations and modern upgrades to our facility, and we’re looking to expand our team to keep up with growing demand.

**About the Role**

This is a physically demanding, fast paced position suited for someone energetic, hardworking, and passionate about dogs. You’ll be working in both our grooming and daycare areas, helping provide exceptional care and service to our canine clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Hydrobather Duties**:

- Bathing and blow-drying dogs of all breeds and sizes to a high standard
- Prepping dogs for grooming
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment to ensure a hygienic and safe environment
- Following established policies and procedures, reporting to senior staff when required
- Creating a calm, gentle, and positive experience for every dog
- Managing your time effectively to support the smooth flow of our busy salon

**Daycare Attendant Duties**:

- Supervising dog interactions to ensure a safe and positive environment
- Learning and understanding each dog’s personality and behaviour
- Creating and implementing enrichment activities
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the daycare
- Adhering to procedures and communicating with senior staff as needed

- A genuine passion for dogs
- A really good understanding of dog behaviour
- A strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
- Professional presentation and communication
- A willingness to take direction and also show initiative
- Flexibility with availability
- An interest in building a long-term career in the pet care industry
- May be required to do some reception work from time to time.

**Additional Information**
- **Availability required**: Between **6:45am - 6:15pm, Monday to Friday**. Occasional **Saturday shifts (8:30am - 2:30pm)** may be required.
