**Fashion Production Assistant**

**Fixed-Term Contract - 38 hours per week**

**Capalaba, QLD (Brisbane)**

**Base salary: FTE Adult rate of $49,358 + superannuation**

We produce a range of garments for everyday training and exercise as well as custom competitive wear for gymnastics teams all over the world.

Sylvia P Group is currently hiring Production Assistants to join any of your preferred departments listed below:

- Printing Team
- Heat Press Embellishment Applicator Team
- Fabric Cutting Team
- Gluing Team

This is a fulltime fixed term role to start in June until 30th January 2026 with the possibility of becoming a fulltime permanent.

**1. Printing**
- Lay-up artwork in preparation for printing
- Operate paper sublimation printing machine to ensure high level of accuracy and detail and ensure it's being maintained at a great condition
- Manage stock levels of machine consumables and reordering when required

**2. Heat Press Embellishment Applicator**
- Operate a heat press machine
- Create the extra bling that our customers love
- The hours are Monday-Thursday, starting at 7am - 3.30pm and Friday starting at 7am - 1.30pm.

**3. Fabric Cutting**
- Use an automated cutting machine called Pathfinder. Manual fabric cutting when needed
- Laying up our beautiful and high quality fabrics
- Off-loading cut panels, sorting and distribute throughout our factories
- The hours are Monday-Thursday, starting at 7am - 3.30pm and Friday starting at 7am - 1.30pm.

**4. Applique Technician (Gluing)**
- Following instructions outlined on the job ticket
- The hours are Monday-Thursday, starting at 7am - 3.30pm and Friday starting at 7am - 1.30pm.

Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
