**Overview**
- The position reports to the Production Manager at Link DigiCom Auburn and is responsible for daily processing of Print production and ensuring quality deliverables within the required SLA timeframes; including daily operational management, ensuring department procedures, perform regular quality checks action, escalate and notify Supervisor/ Production Manager if any discrepancies/defects arise.
- Print Operators must ensure effective time management and prioritisation to achieve quality print output at a high quantity and at the agreed KPI.
- The success of the role relies on the achievement of all customer Service Level Agreements (SLA) & Service Level Obligations (SLO) through the effective use of resources provides; including effective communication to the team and management regarding any issues that might impact customer SLA/SLO’s at risk.
- This role must always adhere to Print processes and identify process improvements where possible.

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Strategic Focus:

- Support and deliver key deliverables of the department directly affecting customer perception of Link DigiCom’s service delivery and ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare files for digital printing (imposition, proofing, and quality checking)
- Effectively collaborate and partner with clients and the production team
- Prioritise and manage multiple print jobs and deadlines
- Conduct quality checks before the final output
- Ensure the delivery of print output at a high quality in line with agreed KPI’s
- Perform allocated tasks with mínimal or no supervision
- Operational Management:

- Operate and maintain digital print equipment and ensure matters promptly resolved to minimise disruptions
- Ensure correct operational procedures are followed at all times
- Conduct regular random quality checks throughout each job
- Ensure adequate resources and order stock in advance for each job to maximise production throughput
- Validate and package all output in accordance with job sheet instructions
- Assist with stock management and escalate any stock and consumable issues as required
- Ensure sufficient daily stock and consumables to produce printed output in line with customer SLAs
- Maintain service logs for each machine
- Assist production teams as needed across the business
- Record all production, spoilage, and damaged quantities accurately and pass them on to the manager
- Raise stock, hardware, and job sheet issues immediately with the manager.
- Monitor print machines and escalate issues if they arise
- Monitor equipment at all times and escalate any hardware/software issues to engineers promptly
- Identify process improvements within the operational environment and raise them with peers, management, or support teams
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of operating machines, including inkjet and laser printers (Oce, Ricoh, Xerox)
- Ensure print output must be of high quality and regularly checked by operators, with any discrepancies reported to the manager
- Produce mail packs to the highest standard using standard processing procedures
- Support and delivery of business needs according to the roster and schedule
- Be accountable for print production output meeting SLA/SLO targets
- Ensure zero defects, rejects, or errors in production

- Adhere to WHS rules and regulations, and ensure prompt reporting of any near misses or accidents
- Ensure a safe and tidy work environment at all times
- Record all downtime and hardware quality issues in the handover register or notify the production manager
- Include details of stock, job sheet, and production issues/concerns in the handover notebook, and notify peers and/or the production manager
- Implement projects successfully, as assessed and reviewed by the production manager
- Comply with all MUFG Pension & Market Services policies, core values, and procedures

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Previous experience operating digital print production equipment
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Suite and graphic design software
- Demonstrated expertise and understanding of in various aspects of digital printing production
- Experience with large format print and cut equipment (HP Latex preferred but not essential).
