**Medical Education Officer**
- ** Part Time (0.5 EFT) ongoing position based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital**:

- ** Support wellbeing and develop, implement, and evaluate continuing education programs for medical staff**:

- ** Join an enthusiastic and committed team**
- The Medical Workforce and Education Unit is a collaborative team, supporting both the junior and senior medical workforce. This newly developed Medical Education Officer (MEO) role will work closely with other staff within Medical Education, Medical Workforce, and various education roles within the broader organisation.
- In this role you will support the training needs of the Basic Physician Trainees (BPTs) at RMH, who are a critical part of our Doctors in Training workforce with their own specific training requirements. You will provide high quality co-ordination and administration services to support the BPT program.

**Your new role**:

- Work closely with the Manger of Medical Education and other key stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluation education opportunities.
- Build our library of resources including recordings of education sessions, and coordinate specialist lectures, practice exams and training evenings.
- Be a key contact for practice exam patients.
- Ensure all education activities align with best practice initiatives, organisational priorities, and accreditation requirements from various external agencies.

**About you**:

- You have a relevant tertiary qualification (teaching / education, health sciences, management) and / or equivalent experience in healthcare education.
- You have demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate educational opportunities for medical staff.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- You are flexibile with working hours.
