About the role
We are currently seeking dedicated GP Medical Educators to join our team in the Murrumbidgee and ACT region of NSW. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the next generation of general practitioners by supporting their development throughout the entire training journey. We strongly encourage applications from rural GPs located anywhere in the Murrumbidgee and ACT NSW* subregion.
As a Medical Educator, you'll:
deliver registrar education and support through group learning, practice visits, and individual mentoring.
facilitate registrar progress, assessments, and exam readiness, escalating issues as required.
support supervisors with teaching, professional development, and accreditation requirements.
build strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, practices, and local health stakeholders.
- The Murrumbidgee and ACT subregion includes Canberra and the ACT and Murrumbidgee area of NSW.
Skills & Experience
RACGP Fellowship and specialist GP registration
Passion for medical education and registrar support
Strong communication and mentoring skills
Experience in teaching or facilitating learning groups
