Repair Coordinator

Due to recent events, the business has identified a need for a **Repair Coordinator / Repair Supervisor **to join our Repair team reporting into the Repair Team Manager, focusing on residential property claims associated with the bushfires and hail storms.

**What will you do?**
- Review preferred contractor quotes submissions
- Ensure that contractors service delivery is in line with Service Level Expectations
- Schedule and coordinate preferred contractors to ensure timely completion of approved repair work at the customers property - the quicker the better
- Keep the customer informed about the progress of their property repair and ensure a positive repair experience at all times
- Obtain updates from the trades on the progress of repairs so that the claim file can be updated
- Manage any variations to the scope of works, or any problems that may arise during the repair process
- Ensure that file notes represent all interactions with all stakeholders during the trade allocation and repair phase of the customers claim
- Liaise with the client (insurance company/broker) to keep them informed, and to address any repair specific issues
- Compile sales invoices for completed repair works

**Who are you?**
- Previous experience managing property repairs/maintenance or new residential builds (highly regarded)
- Previous experience in the property insurance sector (desirable)
- Previous experience coordinating trades/professional services across multiple properties/projects (desirable)
- Previous experience reviewing trade quotes for repairs to ensure labour and material prices are fair and reasonable (desirable)
- Ability to coordinate various trades to repair property with minor or major damage
- Customer is at the heart of everything you do
- Ability to work with key stakeholders to overcome challenges to service delivery, such as repair delays or material shortages, etc.
- Attention to detail when entering information into job management systems
- Ability to work at a high tempo and not get distracted or bogged down by activities that deliver limited value
- Positive and personable who enjoys building strong relationships with stakeholders, especially customers and preferred contractors
- A target driven individual who can be self-critical about their own performance and constantly strive to improve their overall performance delivery - “I did well last month, but how can I do better this month?”
- An excellent communicator with the ability to adapt your communication style accordingly
- Confident in your organisational and time management capabilities
- Enjoys working with various technologies and have previous experience using the Microsoft Office suite
