Base salary $80,000+ plus super

We are a manufacturing air conditioning & ventilation sheet metal ductwork factory. Fabricating galvanized sheet metal ductwork, located in Matraville, NSW.

We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week

What you will need to succeed
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to use all sheet metal fabricating machines
- ductwork experience
- You will be required to use folders, guillotines, and roll forming machines to fabricate ductwork ready for the installers on site
- Install assemblies, such as flashing, pipes, tubes, heating and air conditioning ducts, furnace casings, rain gutters, and down spouts, in supportive frameworks.
- Select gauges and types of sheet metal or non-metallic material, according to product specifications
- Fasten seams and joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, and bonds in order to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
- Be able to Tig Weld and use pressbrake.
- Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools and portable power tools.
- Maintain equipment, making repairs and modifications when necessary.
- Shape metal material over anvils, blocks, or other forms, using hand tools.
- Coordinate the production of jobs within the fabrication line.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
