**About the role**

This position is a term contract role for up to 8 months reporting to the team leader you will be working with the trades team as a painter responsible for delivering trade-based work that ensures Parramatta’s public domain and facilities are maintained and improved to enhance the appearance of the city and to promote Parramatta as Australia’s next great city.

On a daily basis you will:

- Assist the Team Leader to deliver all works; programs/schedules to the agreed standards.
- Undertake inspections to the public domain and other facilities.
- Graffiti Removal, line marking, colour matching, and minor touch ups of buildings where required.
- Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed, to assist other teams and operational areas to meet the needs of the community.

**About You**

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum certificate III trade qualification in Painting
- Hold a current NSW C Class Driver’s license (MR Desirable).
- Possession of a construction industry certificate “White Card”.
- Asbestos Awareness

**Experience**:

- Relevant experience working in an operational environment.
- Relevant experience in specialisation of painting.

**Skills**:

- The capacity to undertake the physical requirements of the role.

**What’s on offer**:
We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $68,638.99 to $75,563.22 plus 11% superannuation.
