Disability Support Worker

Phil Terry Health Care Services is an NDIS and Home Care Approved Provider offering a flexible and individualised care service in home and community settings to people with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and to achieve their goals.

**About the role**:
We are looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis, in Girraween, short 2-3 hours shift.

**ONLY FEMALE STAFF NEEDED**

**About you**:

- Delivering high-quality care within the scope of NDIS supports
- Provide Personal Care in home settings
- Following vital care plans in pace
- Monitoring participants’ health and responding to changes in clinical needs
- Bowel Care is a must with manual extraction
- Catheter Care
- Community Access
- Active listening
- Flexible shifts some short

**Essential criteria**:

- Proven experience in disability, aged care, community health, Mental Health

Strong understanding of NDIS framework and person-centred care
Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
Valid Police Check, WWCC, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
COVID-19 vaccination (as per government mandate)

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience with complex behaviours or health needs
- Familiarity with medication administration and clinical procedures in the home/community setting
- Ability to mentor support staff and contribute to quality improvement processes
