**The Role**
As Product Manager-Bulk CO2, you will be reporting to the Strategic Product Manager-Bulk based in our North Ryde facility. You will be responsible for profitable development of the Bulk CO2 product portfolio.
You are an astute communicator who will interact with various business unit functions including, Major Account Executives, Bulk Supply Chain Operations, Delivery, Operations, Customer Engineering Services, Sales Engineers and other Product Managers. Your strong operations background, business acumen and project management experience with a passion to succeed will hold you in good stead for this role and aid in affirming our position as the Leader in the Bulk Gases Business across the South Pacific Region.
**Some responsibilities in this role will include**:
- Compliance with WHS regulations & BOC HSE policies
- Product stewardship in terms of quality for bulk CO2 products, working closely with Bulk Supply Chain & Quality Team
- Identifying & making case for new supply of production & distribution assets
- Maintaining and negotiating feedgas and product supply agreements
- Understanding & documenting overall product market - market size, growth potential, competitive environment, product sourcing status, & average selling prices to development & implementation of overall product supply strategies
- Owning profit performance of merchant products in portfolio and identifying profit improvement opportunities by customer and industry segment
**To be successful within the role you will have**:
- 6+ years’ experience in Operational roles or Marketing or related field
- Team leadership and project management experience
- Business acumen: Strategic, analytical and good financial skills
- Strong communications skills - can make presentations to all levels of the organisation
- Able to develop a deep understanding of value drivers for products and their overall impact on business profitability
- Experience working with customers would be well regarded
