A great opportunity to showcase your communication talent by joining a skilled, creative and dynamic team. You will be co-ordinating communications that assist Council staff to conduct engagement activities in our community. Your organisational ability will be the key to success in this role with the assistance of the rest of the Communications & Engagement Department, including Customer Service.

Your role is to co-ordinate, develop and implement communication strategies to assist staff conducting engagement with our community. You do not have to conduct the engagement yourself, just ensure staff have the necessary collateral to consult with the community on a variety of projects, strategies and activities.

As the Communications & Engagement Officer you will guide appropriate and timely communications through different mediums that suit the audience. Your organisational ability will shine in this role. You will enjoy working with a vibrant, multi-skilled and supportive team who are highly regarded within the organisation. We have in-house graphic designers, web developers, social media specialists, marketing officers and communications officers but we work as a team on projects and campaigns.
