**About the Company**

Davidson have partnered with a dynamic and innovative non-profit organisation committed to assisting low income and/or disadvantages families and single people with Community Housing. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Asset Services Officer for a 12-week contract.

**About the Role**
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including internal staff, tenants, government agencies, partners, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure effective communication with tenants and stakeholders.
- Help tenants with maintenance inquiries and coordinate repairs with contractors.
- Collect and accurately record inventory items from contractors.
- Gather, resolve, and log feedback from tenants and contractors, escalating as needed.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance contractors, providing property access.
- Organize responsive maintenance for head leasing properties through owners/agents.
- Record and troubleshoot maintenance requests accurately.
- Communicate promptly with tenants for maintenance arrangements.
- Provide timely information to Housing Services team about planned tenant maintenance.
- Engage with contractors to ensure satisfactory completion of work.
- Regularly check and count inventory stock levels at all sites.
- Monitor and order stock in a timely manner, researching cost-effective alternatives.
- Manage key reservations, including overdue returns.
- Compile key reservation lists for cyclical maintenance.
- Coordinate scheduling and monitoring of cyclical maintenance, including notices and purchase orders.
- Assist Asset Managers with planned maintenance and vacancy management.
- Represent Bric at events, possibly requiring after-hours attendance.

**About You**:

- At least one (1) year experience in an administrative, customer facing role
- Practical administrative skills, experience and demonstrated ability to work safely and securely
- Practical experience in customer/client services
- Proficiency in operating within a computer-based work environment including the use of Word and Microsoft Office software and willingness to undertake training in relevant areas, particularly in becoming proficient at using property management software, i.e., Greentree
- Knowledge of or ability to understand responsive and planned maintenance as it applies across a residential property portfolio
- Knowledge of or ability to learn RTA legislation requirements for property access
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively
- Sensitivity to and understanding of issues affecting socially disadvantaged groups including homeless people, people with disabilities and people from a non-English speaking background.
