The Opportunity
This isn’t just a management job — it’s a chance to **co-lead the transformation** of a much-loved local café into something truly special.
As **Café Manager**, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operations while working closely with the owner to improve systems, grow the team, and deliver an unforgettable guest experience. You’ll bring energy, efficiency, and most importantly — _a love for hospitality_.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Leading, coaching & inspiring a passionate front-of-house and kitchen team.
- Ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered, every single time.
- Managing staff rosters, hiring, training, and performance development.
- Driving daily operations smoothly — from open to close.
- Implementing systems that improve efficiency, quality, and consistency.
- Working alongside ownership on exciting new projects, promotions & events.
- Managing inventory, ordering, and cost control.
- Supporting a positive, productive, and values-driven workplace culture.
About You:
- Proven experience in hospitality management (café or casual dining).
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Obsessed with customer service — and love making people smile.
- Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure.
- Passionate about food, coffee, and creating welcoming spaces.
- Great communicator with a “hands-on” approach.
- Familiar with POS systems, rostering, stocktake & cost management.
- Available early mornings and weekends.

Pay: $69,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
