Mechanical Fitter

**The role**

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated individual who is either currently working as a** Mechanical Fitter**or actively working in the field of Maintenance and looking to step into a Mechanical Fitter role. This full-time position is an integral member of the maintenance team rotating on both the **morning** and **afternoon** shifts supporting our 24hr production facilities at our Masonry Plant in Stapylton.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure commitment to safety, quality, and the environment.
- Mechanical fitting duties within a site-based environment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
- Focus on continuous improvement ideas.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.

**What you will need to succeed**
- Proven experience in a mechanical role or similar
- A confident, self-motivated, energetic individual
- A team player with a high degree of trade flexibility or experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
