Sodexo is currently looking for an experienced Team Lead/Leading Hand to join our Housekeeping and Industrial Cleaning team. This is a fulltime position FIFO from Adelaide into the Cooper Basin to work 14 days on, 14 days off.

**Who are we looking for?**

You will be responsible for coordinating all housekeeping and mine site cleaning services together with the Cleaning Supervisor. In this role you will be working closely with Management to provide a consistently high level of quality service to our client.

You will foster a people culture by displaying strong leadership skills in coaching, mentoring, developing, recognising and rewarding direct reports. This role will suit a Leader who is happy to be hands on and support the team on the ground, using their initiative and problem-solving skills when challenges arise. To be successful, you’ll need:
**Who are we looking for?**

You will be responsible for managing the Housekeeping/Mine Site Cleaning Team from the ground up whose focus will be cleaning of all accommodation rooms at our remote mine site village, along with cleaning of residential, Town and Mine Site facilities.

This role will suit a leader who is happy to be hands on and support the team on the ground, using their initiative and problem solving skills when challenges arise.
To be successful, you’ll need:

- Australian Citizenship, or full Australian working rights
- Manual Drivers Licence
- Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check
- You will possess proven leadership skills, have an excellent work ethic with a focus on providing outstanding service in order to meet client standards and is able to prioritise tasks according to the needs of the team and the business
- We are looking for someone that holds a high level of knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace with a strong supervisory background
- Experience managing teams is essential
- Previous experience in the Hospitality sector working a similar role for a large hotel or resort is desirable with previous FIFO experience in a similar role is highly sought after

Working on-site with our teams means you’ll be working 11 hours per day on a 2:2 roster (two weeks at work and two week at home), often in extreme environments. So, having a good level of fitness will help you get through each day

We’d love to hear from you if you’ve had previous experience in the Hospitality sector working a similar role and have experience managing teams. Working on-site with our teams means you’ll be working 10 hours per day, often in extreme environments. So, having a good level of fitness will help you get through each day
