Investment Product Management Specialist

To support analyses of the opportunities and threats to the Vanguard product lineup, communicate product positioning to sales crew, support marketing collateral development, lead crew product education efforts, collaborate with business and investment teams to ensure the health of our product offer, and create & deliver relevant and data for the team, department, and organization.

**The team & opportunity**

**What you will do**
- Serve as an expert for model portfolios and work closely with platform relationship managers.
- Work closely with distribution teams to help them in their role to sell and service investors.
- Produce and maintain regular client summaries, dashboards and other reports.
- Research client needs and provide internal partners and clients with asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment analyses. Develop supporting documentation used to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to develop monitoring and rebalancing tools to manage the model portfolios asset allocations.
- Collaborate with internal Investment, Compliance, Finance, Legal and Disribution teams to respond to investment-related questions or requests from clients and prospects
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of capital markets, asset management, and the Financial Services industry, as well as a deep awareness of competitors and the performance of Vanguard and non-Vanguard funds and models.
- Support the training and development of crew to improve their investment acumen, particularly related to the model portfolios.
- Be willing to participate with work outside of model portfolios and provide assistance within other Product investment streams.
- Work closely with members of the investment product team to gain an expertise across all Vanguard products and offers.

**What we are looking for**
- Experience in the financial services industry, especially exposure to models and funds management.
- Self-motivated investment product professionals with strong relationship and stakeholder management skills who is comfortable proactively navigating complex, multi-layered tasks.
- Analytical approach to problem solving and the proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise key deliverables and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills - facilitation/engagement/influence.
- Embraces difficult challenges, is curious and comfortable with ambiguity, and drives towards agreed outcomes that ensures the ongoing integrity of Vanguards product suite.

- Deep knowledge and experience across model portfolios fully implemented on investment platforms in the Australian market.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, platforms and distribution channels.
- Strong investment acumen and a passion for investment markets.
- Experience working in a global funds or wealth management business.
- Experience managing external stakeholder relationships.
- A clear desire to deliver client first outcomes.

**Qualifications**
- Five years’ experience in the Financial Services industry or client services preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Completion of or Progress towards CFA or equivalent preferred.
