**About the School**:
Wooloowin State School is primary school for Prep to Year 6 located north of Brisbane CBD. Our school offers a welcoming, inclusive and supportive school community set in charming surrounds.

**About the Role**:
Hours of work will be between 5:00 am and 5:00pm, from Monday to Friday. Split shifts or early start shifts may be required.

**Responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:
**As the Cleaner you will have responsibility for the following**:

- Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
- Cleaning/blowing concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
- Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
- Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.
- Hosing.
- Removal of graffiti.
- Sweeping and vacuuming.
- Other appropriate cleaning duties as directed by the Principal/Business Manager.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
- Successfully undergo a Criminal History Check
- Complete the prescribed mandatory training requirements for a school Cleane within one (1) week of commencing employment with the department and maintain mandatory training requirements on an annual basis.
- Be legally able to work in Australia (you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or you hold a valid visa with permission to work.
- Evidence of Proof of Work Eligibility is required (e.g. Australian or New Zealand Passport, Australian Birth Certificate and photo identification, an overseas passport and authorisation for a check of the Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO).
