We are seeking a highly skilled and professional **Book Editor** to work on a manuscript and prepare it for publication. This is a freelance role, ideal for an experienced editor who can ensure the manuscript is polished, engaging, and ready for print and eBook release.

**Responsibilities**:

- Structural and copy editing to improve clarity, flow, and readability
- Proofreading for grammar, spelling, and consistency
- Formatting the manuscript for both print and digital platforms
- Working collaboratively with the author to deliver a professional, publication-ready manuscript

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience editing books (please include portfolio or published titles)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar and language skills
- Familiarity with formatting standards for print and eBook platforms (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, etc. is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
