**About the role**

Reporting to the Assistant Production Manager during assigned maintenance periods, the Sub-Contractor Coordinator will safely manage and coordinate allocated subcontractor tasks. This particular position will work in our newest contract of Regional Maintenance Provider - West (RMP West).

You will foster and develop a good relationship with all subcontractor staff and customer to ensure open and honest dialogue is maintained and are responsible for the on-time delivery of Subcontractor tasks in accordance with the integrated master schedule.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Undertake any required safety training and remain current with best practice;
- Coordination and management of subcontractor tasks, acting as the first point of contact for allocated Repair Agents (RA’s);
- Liaise with RA’s to develop and maintain schedule to ensure timely performance and compliance with company and customer requirements;
- Review Repair Agents Job Safety Analysis’s (JSEA’s) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP’s) prior to work commences to ensure compliance with legislative, Technical Repair Specification (TRS) and contractual requirements;
- Oversee on site production work ensuring adherence to task quality requirements including witness/ hold points by authorised parties & ensuring Problem Identification reports (PIR’s) are raised for all deviations from TRS scope; and
- Ensure Inspection and Testing activities are planned and implemented to verify conformance to required specifications listed within TRS ITP and validate all activities required by the TRS are complete.

**About you**

**Essential**:

- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a Team;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to develop daily operation schedules and deconflict activities; and
- Ability to accommodate shift work and/or irregular work patterns to meet production requirements.

**Desirable**
- Prior experience or knowledge working in the Defence Industry;
- Suitable experience in a similar role; and
- Cert IV in Frontline Management.
