Perth Sports Institute is seeking experienced and passionate casual Basketball Referees for inter-school sports programs in schools across Perth for 2025

At the Perth Sports Institute we are committed to creating excellence in sport and ensuring the safety and well-being of children.

Game times vary through the afternoon commencing at times such as 1.00pm or 2.00pm and are played Monday through to Friday & Saturday mornings at a variety of locations across Perth.

Referees may choose the most appropriate locations and days that best suit them.

There is no fixed commitment to participate for the entire season, referees can simply select dates that suit them. Referees are paid per game and rates increase depending on experience, qualifications and the level of the match.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- High level of knowledge and experience in Basketball
- High level communication skills
- Working with children check (if you do not have this, you must be willing to obtain, unless you are under 18 years of age)
- Eligibility to work in Australia

Referee accreditation is preferred. This position is ideal for someone who has flexible working hours. We are a child safe and equal employment opportunity employer.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

- Perth, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Refereeing: 1 year (preferred)
