The opportunity:
We have an opportunity available for a Client Development Associate to join our team in Perth. This position will support our WA based Retail Distribution team at AIA. Within this position, you will ensure delivery of agreed AIA Australia sales targets, including the provision of quality service to a designated panel of Advisers and their support staff within the framework of good corporate governance.

To do this successfully you will:

- Achieve individual financial, sales and profit targets for areas of accountability
- Contribute to growth of the team by meeting predetermined sales targets
- Ensure you are compliant and following sound business practice at all times
- Be innovative and intuitive in identifying ways to grow your portfolio and AIA’s business
- Develop and maintain open and effective communication channels with all key stakeholder groups
- Continually contribute to an effective and entrepreneurial sales team
- Ensure customers are always kept informed and enquiries are followed up within a timely manner
- Perform additional adhoc tasks as required by the management team
- Prior track record of sales experience, preferably from an adviser’s practice or dealer/franchise environment
- Experience working within or knowledge of the insurance business
- RG146 compliant
- Successful completion of or working towards the Diploma of Financial Services will be highly regarded
- A confident phone manner and high-level stakeholder and customer engagement skills
- Sound presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated business development and networking experience
- Strong negotiation and time management skills
