We actively require a **Mechanical Fitter** in the gearing division** **for an immediate start in a workshop based role in Bassendean.

**Job Overview**:

- Maintenance and manufacturing of gearboxes, special purpose machinery, hydraulic or electric drives, girthing gears, conveyer gearboxes, bogie drives, inching drives and transmissions.

- $48 per hour + Penalities.
- Time and a half rate: $72
- Double time rate: $96
- 10 hour days.
- Choice of roster:

- 6am to 4pm
- 2pm to 12am
- Ongoing work available.
- Large and spacious workshop.

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Relevant trade qualification or able to demonstrate equivalent skills.
- Proven experience building and refurbishing existing machinery.
- Ability to interpret and use engineering drawings, measuring equipment & documentation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve with a positive 'can do' attitude.

Covid-19 vaccinations are not required for this position.
