Exciting opportunity to join Tweed Valley Hospital, a new, major referral hospital at the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed-Byron region

The new state of the art facility includes:

- more operating theatres and recovery spaces
- expanded emergency department
- enhanced medical, surgical, and mental health services
- enhanced ambulatory care services including more outpatient clinics
- new interventional cardiology service
- new radiotherapy service as part of a new integrated cancer care service

**About the role**

In this role you are required to support and mentor student nurses and midwives and facilitating a professional relationship between the university students (undergraduate nurses and midwives) and Local Health District Registered Nurses. The Nurse/Midwife Educator is responsible for the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of nursing/midwifery education programs at a facility level to support development of evidence based, person centred nursing/midwifery care.**
