Ausdrill are currently searching for a highly motivated and qualified Maintenance Manager - Exploration to join our Surface Plant Division. The individual will be responsible for supporting and providing leadership in conjunction with a strong overseeing governance of all maintenance related activities in line with the group asset management strategy across our operating surface projects.

**Responsibilities**:
A strong commitment to the group safe systems of work and lead and mentor our people on safety compliance, performance, and employee welfare
Maintain respectful, effective, cohesive, and reciprocal working relationships with all stakeholders both internal and external to Ausdrill ensuring responsibilities, targets and results are successfully achieved.
Provide strong leadership, support, and mentorship to our operational teams in appropriate ways that develop trust, high levels of engagement and empowerment and enable individuals to provide their best efforts.
Regular site visits to audit / inspect all asset maintenance related activities and provide direction and coaching. In line with the group strategy.
Track and maintain optimum asset health / reliability to ensure project KPI are achieved.
Work closely with the group planning function for component health and replacement strategy.
Manage business relationships with OEM’s and Sub-contractors.
Be able to Identify, quantify and manage risks and opportunities across all areas of responsibility.
Use initiatives / Innovation seeking improvements to meet financial performance targets and drive efficiencies.

**Key Requirements**:
Trade Certification
- Heavy Diesel Mechanical and/ or qualifications / or Mechanical Engineering.
Several years’ experience in mining, earthmoving or similar industries managing Drilling Rigs / or Mobile Plant.
Demonstrated previous experience in Maintenance Management role with a good understanding of Asset Management principles and standards.
Excellent safety awareness and leadership.
Good verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across various stakeholders.
Ability to work well within and lead a team environment achieving organisational objectives.
Disciplined financial management being able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of relevant costs and analysis to achieve optimal outcomes.
