**The Role**

Due to extensive growth, we have multiple **Distribution Team Member **job opportunities available within our Logistics team at **Mentone**.

Our business couldn't operate without our customer-driven, quick-thinking and energetic Distribution Centre Team Members. This is a fast-moving, hands-on, physical role so you will need to have a can-do attitude, great communication skills, be physically fit and raring to go

**You’ll never be bored in this role as the work is varied and rewarding This is a physical role, so you won’t need to worry about spending money on going to the gym, this role has that covered. With product cases as big as ours, we need someone who is capable of lifting up to 19kg repetitively.**

We’re proud of our great culture and the strong team spirit in our Mentone Distribution Centre. Our distribution team works together to pick our iconic beverage brands accurately, safely and efficiently so that our products are ready to hit the shelves and refresh our customers.

The current shift structure for the team member roles available are day shifts (ranging from 5am - 1pm or 6am - 2pm shifts with an option to work reasonable overtime). However, during our peak periods, you will be required to work a flexible 24/7 roster.

You will be provided with high quality training on all equipment and technology required to carry out your role and you will work closely with our supportive management team. You will also be required to demonstrate safe work behaviours, lead by example and encourage others to do the same.

**Key responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Providing accurate and prompt picking and dispatching of our products
- Managing orders and picking requirements involving manual handling and pallet stacking
- Controlling Inventory / Stock levels
- As you progress in the role, you will be required to operate technology and machinery in a safe and efficient manner, which will include Forklifts
- Prioritising the health and safety of yourself and others at work.

**About you**:

- **Excellent communication and numerical skills**:

- **Be physically capable of completing manual handling tasks and be able to repetitively lift cases up to 19kg in weight**:

- Reliable, flexible and strong attention to detail
- Forklift license preferred but not essential
- Previous Warehousing / Logistics experience in FMCG or similar industry, or a desire to learn
- Possess a strong safety focus and a knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (COR)
