**About the role**:
The Enterprise Architect reports to the Head of Architecture and is responsible for working with key stakeholders across Coles and industry to understand the needs and propose solutions that fit a “people, process then technology” methodology.

You will be accountable for providing clear architecture direction aligned to strategy (defining target state), aligning and governing investment and change to that target and doing so in a manner that is providing value for customers and our business while reducing risk.

**About you and your skills**:

- Sufficient commercial experience as a Solution, Domain or Enterprise Architect working across medium to large Enterprise level projects.
- Experience in one or more of the following knowledge areas:

- Retail/liquor/supply chain verticals
- Large corporate ERP systems
- Payments, banking or other financial systems
- Experience in building business and technology roadmaps
- Experience translating strategic business needs to desired process and technology deliverables
- Experience in a leadership role managing a team, and engaging with senior leaders in an organisation (C-Level and down)
- Experience in synthesizing unstructured/ambiguous business requirements into technology agnostic solutions
- Experience with strategic planning and strategy development in complex business environments
- Experience in managing technology partners and in technically leading RFI/RFQ/RFP processes
- Understanding of Enterprise Architecture and Technology in large organisations and in the context of technology transformation
- Experience contributing and supporting governance forums and key decisions
- Creating value through strategic partnerships within the Coles Group and outside with Technology Partners
- Understanding of some of the key domains within large Retail corporate entities such as Mechanising, Pricing & Promotions, Supply Chain and Omnichannel desirable but not mandatory
- Understanding of some of the key domains within large Financial/Payments corporate entities such as Payments Switching, API Gateways, Settlements and Reconciliations desirable but not mandatory
- Proven track record of managing high quality on time delivery of projects, analysis, reports, presentations, and communications
- Translating research to insights, analytics modelling, and producing high quality communication.
- Strong problem solving, creativity, learning ambition and ability
