**About the role**

Join our talented Enterprise Architecture group in a role that will allow you to innovate and shape the future of retail technology and customer experience. The team strive to deliver evolutionary architecture, technical innovation and data driven decisioning in service of Coles Group’s corporate strategy. They are a creative and forward-thinking group focused on building the next generation of Digital grocery retailer.

This role is a Lead Solution Architecture position in the Supply Chain and Stores Architecture Team. Our team provides support and guidance for to business services and solution across our complex supply chain and store operations space within the Coles Group.

In this role you will:

- Be responsible for leading the Transport Transformation Program.
- Facilitate building relationships with stakeholders across delivery teams, Technology Distribution and Transport, Program Managers, and Delivery Managers.
- Provide thought leadership across business, technology and operational perspectives and proactive engagement with a mix of vendors, technology teams, delivery partners and SMEs.
- Work in collaboration with the wider Enterprise Architecture team and Technology Services
- Participate in and be part of a collaborative team culture

**About you and your skills**

You are a seasoned and passionate Solution Architect, with at least 10 years of architectural or adjacent experience within Supply Chain and Transportation business. You also have:

- Experience of working in and supporting large, distributed teams in an enterprise environment delivering complex programs of work.
- Experience in architecting and designing mission-critical, large-scale solutions (preferably Transportation and Distribution).
- Demonstrated experience in producing solutions with a business focus from engagement through design and on to delivery.
- Proven team leadership experience of Architects / Solution Designers (ideally cross-discipline)
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of:

- Best-practice architecture frameworks
- Project and program-level work products that focus on conceptual and logical architectures
- Modern integration methods
- Cloud-based/SaaS technologies
- Proven capabilities in stakeholder, partner and vendor relationship management, including the participation in negotiation of SaaS, infrastructure and outsource agreements
- Experience in Azure or related Cloud technologies desirable
- Retail business or adjacent experience advantageous
