**About the Role**

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be providing person-centred active support to people living with disability on the Central Coast. Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.

We are currently looking to fill 2 casual and 2 permanent part time positions.

**PERMANENT LINE 1**

**Week 1**

Monday 10pm-6am (Active Overnight)

Tuesday 10pm-6am (Active Overnight)

Friday 10pm-6am (Active Overnight)

**Week 2**

Monday 1:30pm-10pm

Tuesday 1:30pm-10pm

Wednesday 1:30pm-10pm

Saturday 2pm-10pm

Wednesday 1:30pm-10pm

Saturday 6am-2pm

Sunday 6am-2pm

**Week 2**

Friday 10pm-6am (Active Overnight)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide support for clients facing mental health challenges, high behaviours of concern, complex needs, and significant medical requirements
- Work with clients who require assistance with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing, as well as manual handling to ensure safe mobility
- Availability for sleepover shifts is **essential**:

- Implement person-centred active support and behaviour support plans, advocating for client choice and autonomy while ensuring safety and compliance in all interaction
- Maintain accurate and detailed records to track and document the changing needs of clients, ensuring thorough communication and continuity of care

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience with high behaviours of concern is **REQUIRED**:

- An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
- A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
