**What does an Employment Consultant do?**

Lots of things

Employment Consultants focus on appropriate and sustainable employment outcomes for our customers. We manage this in a variety of ways, and we are looking for someone who isn’t shy to pick up the phone and use their networking skills. Employment Consultants also need high levels of customer service, so our customers can feel valued on their employment journey.

**In an average day, you’ll be**:

- Talking to employers in the local community to create opportunities for our customers.
- Meeting with customers to discuss their progress toward employment.
- Assisting customers with identifying and moving towards vocational goals.
- Coach and train customers to increase their employability skills.
- Building local relationships and partnerships with complementary services to refer our customers to these services when they need
- Reverse market and advocate for our customers in your current case load to prospective employers in the community

What do you need to thrive and succeed within this role?

**We’re looking for someone who**:

- Is passionate about achieving the best outcome for our customers, us (Campbell Page), and of course you
- Can ‘think outside the box’ when it comes to supporting our customers to achieve their employment goals
- Can manage competing priorities/multitask (some days can get busy)
- Is highly motivated and enthusiastic about making a real change in people’s lives
- Can work efficiently while managing a high level of compliance
- Can successfully obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
