**Description**:
Assist predominately NDIS participants and young people to build their capacity towards a goal of employment

Assist and enable participants to sustain employment and improve independence and overall quality of life.

Building on participant strengths and and focusing on solutions

Assist in communication, behaviour support and documented plans and support strategies

Comply with Mai Wel Policy and Procedures and NDIS Code of Conduct

Adopt a professional approach to own personal accountability.

Utilise a strength-based approach to building successful employment outcomes for NDIS participants and local business.

**Skills and Experiences**:
The Essential requirements of this role are;
- Motivated and independent person that uses, initiative who is able to get in and gets things done
- Be engaging, energetic and independent and helpful
- Can demonstrate commitment to high quality service for people with a disability
- Relevant experience in providing personal support to people with disabilities, such as person-centred active support, individual skills development, behaviour support and personal care.
- Drivers License
- A positive approach, communication skills and with a safety focus
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- The desired experience
- Cert IV in Disability
- Experience working with participants with a disability.
