**The Position**
Our client has a great opportunity for a
**Consultant Anaesthetist **to join a busy Department facilitating over 24,000 anaesthetic elective and emergency procedures annually.

**The Hospital**
The Department of Anaesthesia is responsible for delivering inpatient and outpatient services and operates across several facilities, the main of which is the primary teaching hospital and major trauma centre for ACT and Southern NSW. The health service has strong ties with several universities, and the preferred applicant may also be considered for conjoint appointment with ANU.

**The Location**
Boasting a selection of Australia’s most prestigious public and private schools and universities, the city also has a wide variety of art galleries, theatres, and museums to experience. It is a great place for young families, as well as anyone looking to enjoy the perks of city life without the grind of other urban centres.

**The Requirements**
- Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience
- On ANZCA training program
- Hold the FANZCA
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
- IMG's with ANZCA interview date
- IMG's assessed by ANZCA and found to be substantially comparable.
