**About the role**

Heart to Heart Disability is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader (Disability Sector) to join their organization in Sydney. This role will involve leading and supporting a team of disability support workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to our clients.

**What you'll be doing**
- Oversee and coordinate the work of a team of disability support workers, allocating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide supervision, coaching and mentoring to support workers to develop their skills and deliver excellent client care
- Liaise with clients, their families and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure service delivery is meeting their expectations
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and best practices within the disability services team
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance service delivery
- Foster a positive team culture and promote a safe, inclusive and collaborative work environment

**Essential Criteria**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Community Services, Disability Studies or a related field
- Extensive experience (minimum 3-5 years) working in the disability services sector, with a proven track record of leading and managing a team.
- Ability to work with any complex need’s client.
- In-depth knowledge of the NDIS and relevant legislation, regulations and best practices in the disability support industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement effective solutions
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring and developing team members
- Proficient in record-keeping, report writing and data analysis
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required to meet client needs
- All checks up to date and a recent National police check.
- Australian Drivers License is a MUST

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.29 - $61.88 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 48 per week
