**About this position**

The City operates three vibrant youth centres and this role plays a key part in delivering programs, workshops and support services to young people who access these facilities, in particular The Shack.

As part of a dynamic and passionate team, you will collaborate with senior Youth Workers to develop and implement a diverse range of programs, activities and services aimed at engaging and empowering local youth.

This position requires flexibility in working hours, including five evenings a week and occasional weekends.

**What we are looking for**
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and build productive relationships with young people and a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Experience running programs and activities that meet the needs of young people
- Experience providing information, support and referral.

**Essential requirements**
- Working with Children check
- First Aid qualification
- Drivers licence
