Our team consists of general practitioners, registered nurses who provide a range of services.

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated and organised **Medical Receptionist** to join our team for the long term for a **full day shift on Mondays** **with opportunities to increase working days from 2026 January**.

This role is perfect for someone with excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The position is available now with training available to commence as soon as is possible for the successful applicant.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greeting patients in a warm and professional manner
- Processing billing, Medicare claims, and payments
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality
- Assisting doctors and medical staff with administrative tasks
- Ensuring the reception area remains tidy and well-organised
- Handling general office duties and responding to correspondence

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience in a medical reception or administration role (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Best Practice PMS or a willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- A compassionate and friendly attitude towards patients
- Knowledge of Medicare and private health billing (advantageous)
