DP World Brisbane is seeking a reliable and organised Storeperson to join our team **.**In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the ordering, receival, storage, and maintenance of stock levels and inventory in line with company purchasing policies and procedures. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of stock records, the efficient flow of goods, and the security of all inventory at all times.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor inventory levels and raise requisitions for stock replenishment using daily reports.
- Receive, inspect, and store stock items, ensuring accuracy, quality, and secure handling at all times.
- Prepare and stage parts and inventory for planned maintenance tasks, ensuring availability when needed.
- Maintain an organised, safe, and efficient store layout, including rotatable assets and consumables.
- Perform regular stocktakes, rolling checks, and maintain accurate inventory records in the stock control system.
- Support workshop staff with locating parts, issuing tools and PPE, and assisting with contractor services.
- Process purchase orders, delivery dockets, receivals, dispatches, and returns in line with procedures.
- Communicate inventory status and updates with maintenance teams, procurement, and senior workshop personnel.

**Qualifications, skills and experience**
- Proven experience in purchasing, storekeeping, and inventory control within a maintenance or workshop environment.
- Sound understanding of mechanical, electrical, and terminal support systems and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of stock control, auditing, and invoice processing procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone technique.
- Physically fit to meet required pre-employment medical standards.Familiarity with workshop tools, equipment, and general plant operations.
