A great opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Storeperson/Driver role in a growing team.  Avantix is looking to expand our team performing Mail Processing and Digitisation services for Government and Corporate entities. The role will be varied, challenging and integral in the day to day mail services and box storage our company offers.

About the opportunity

Avantix is currently seeking a Storeperson/Driver to work in our Meadowbrook, QLD warehouse.  This position is casual with the potential to convert to full-time. Monday-Friday between 6am to 2pm.

The role will involve:

The role will include (but is not limited to):

  • Project work;
  • Picking boxes and files;
  • Scanning boxes away;
  • Checking in of boxes and files;
  • Pick and pack projects;
  • Operate an Order Picker;
  • Operate a Forklift;
  • Re-filing of files into archive boxes in the warehouse;
  • General warehouse duties as required;
  • Customer deliveries in company vehicle;
  • Good knowledge of Brisbane metro area;
  • Additional tasks conducting document preparation and operating of scanning equipment as part of our Scanning Production team

Desired skills:

  • Current Full Queensland Drivers Licence (Essential);
  • National Police Clearance (Essential);
  • Current Qld Working with Children's Check – Blue Card (Essential);
  • LF Forklift Licence (Essential);
  • LO Order Picker Licence;
  • Previous warehouse/pick and pack experience;
  • Occasional overnight travel to outer area locations;
  • Physically fit;
  • Keen eye for detail & ability to work within set kpi's;
  • Work under pressure with heavy loads.
