Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a
**Finance Lead** to join our team in Perth, Western Australia, as part of the Australia - Finance & Administration - Group Function team.

In this highly visible role, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager - APAC West.

Your primary role will be supporting the finance leaders across the different business units and Group functions in Australia-wide finance matters and other associated reporting requirements such as: entity reporting, and ensuring accuracy in overheads and balance sheet management. Your overall responsibility includes:

- internal and external reporting of monthly management accounts for:

- a number of entities,
- publishing consolidated accounts and
- the preparation of these is another key activity.
- ensuring financial compliance for Australia, including but not limited to the GST return submission.
- ensuring that Wood’s financial accounting requirements are adhered to and that F&A group policies are adopted consistently across the various businesses.

Skills / Qualifications:
**To be considered for this role, you must have full work rights to work in an Australian location.**

Ideally, you will hold a degree in Finance / Accounting from a recognised institution, hold a certification as a practicing accountant (CPA) and have 5+ years of relevant financial accounting experience.

You will have:

- Solid understanding of Group policies and good knowledge of IFRS
- Proficiency in the use of Excel, ERP and other IT Systems (Oracle, Hyperion)
- Exceptional analytical and numerical skills
- Demonstrated ability to form and maintain strong working relationships
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams
- A pro-active, customer-focused & solutions mindset and be delivery driven with an ability to manage varying tasks with often changing and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with proven ability in discussing issues clearly and concisely with people at all levels within the organisation
