**What You Will Be Working On**:
As a Waste Collection Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality waste collection service to residents and customers in various locations throughout the City of Armadale.

You will be someone who enjoys operating collection vehicles in accordance with approved practices and procedures. This includes checking the vehicle's overall condition, ensuring all necessary equipment and safety features are in place, and reporting any maintenance or repair needs. You will also be assisting in the repair, assembly, and delivery of bins.

Waste Collection Vehicle Operators follow assigned routes and schedules to collect waste from residential areas, commercial establishments, or industrial sites. You will become familiar with the assigned areas and adjust your collection process based on factors like seasonal changes, road closures, or special events.

Your job will involve physical tasks such as lifting, loading, and operating the collection vehicle, which can provide a level of physical exercise and help maintain fitness. However it is important to be following safety protocols to be able to maintain a healthy work environment.
