Location: City of Armadale, 6112, WA
Working days/hours: Monday to Friday, normal working hours

Objectives of the role:

- Liaise with residents to promote waste reduction and recycling
- Implement programs providing a community-friendly waste collection and disposal service.
- Investigate illegal dumping, collect evidence for prosecutions, ensure compliance with waste collection requirements and conduct bin audits
- Assist with the development of educational material for waste management issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support with displays at public events.
- Place identification stickers on bins in multiunit sites and multiple collections for single properties.
- Conduct bin audits at residences and industrial areas and identify multiple bin usage.
- Remove excess/multiple or illegal bins from properties if required.
- Deliver new or replacement bins if required.
- Liaise with Waste Drivers and contractors concerning customer requests, as and when required
- Inspect bulk waste and green waste compliance
- Litter/illegal dumping investigation.
- Coordinate clean-up of litter/illegal dumping with relevant personnel
- Issue notices to decontaminate recycling bins and notices to decontaminate recycling bins if required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $71,000.00 per year
