**About Us**:
At Hamlet Mount Waverley, we take pride in serving exceptional coffee and providing outstanding customer service in a warm, welcoming environment. We're looking for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager/Barista to join our team and help lead the café in delivering excellent experiences to our customers.

**About the Role**:
As a Duty Manager/Barista, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service. You will also be working on the coffee machine and must be able to confidently work solo during peak hours.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the smooth operation of the café, ensuring all aspects of the service run efficiently.
- Supervise and lead a team, providing guidance and support.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages, ensuring consistency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including the coffee station and seating area.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and with a positive attitude.
- Manage opening and closing procedures as required.
- Maintain stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Barista, with the ability to work solo on the coffee machine.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
