**About the role?**

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Truganina on a casual basis. You will work 2-3 days per week and be responsible for forklift operations to support daily warehouse tasks. This includes handling heavy-duty materials, as we specialize in manufacturing excavator attachments for the earthmoving industry. Your duties will involve moving these materials, loading/unloading trucks, and assisting with general warehouse operations, including palletisation, quality control checks, and crate opening. This is not a forklift only role
- physical fitness is essential due to the heavy materials and manual tasks required.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and load heavy-duty products and materials.
- Assist in receiving, dispatching, and storing goods in the warehouse.
- Perform manual tasks, including opening crates, sweeping, palletising products, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure materials and products meet company standards.
- Carry out forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Support general warehouse operations such as picking, packing orders, and organizing stock.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

**What You’ll Need**
- Valid Forklift License (essential).
- 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks like crate opening and palletising.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
