About the role

Located at Calvary John James Hospital the CSSD Aide/Technician ensures sterilised medical equipment is available for use in all relevant areas where reusable medical devices are utilised.

Key Responsibilities

The collection, cleaning, packaging and sterilisation and storage requirements of medical equipment
Complete documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures and Industry Standards; monitor compliance and report non-conformances using appropriate method
Participate with daily controls, testing, monitoring and validation requirements

What you bring

Previous experience working within a Sterilising Unit
Knowledge and understanding of AS4187
Certificate III in Sterilising Services or equivalent or a willingness to obtain
Good interpersonal skills within a team environment
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
