M2P Engineering is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services to a wide variety of clients within the minerals, mining, materials handling & water treatment sectors. Servicing nationwide projects, they have branch facilities located in NSW, WA & QLD, with their head office based in Teneriffe, Brisbane.

**About the Role**:

Due to a growing portfolio of work, M2P Engineering is seeking a General Manager to join their business in an Operational capacity and help continue the strong growth they have enjoyed as a business.

The role will ideally be based in Brisbane; however this is negotiable for the right person. Regular travel is a key part of this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Management of the manufacturing operations.
- Management of logistics, including freight and plant movements
- Managing the maintenance functions.
- Management of key personnel in the team.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering, or relevant industry experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
- Experience managing patents & intellectual property would also be an advantage.
- Strong business acumen.
- Capacity to work autonomously and make sound judgements.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and sustain long term relationship with customers and employees.
- Demonstrated experience expanding a business and consistently meeting/exceeding targets.
