**PRINT FINISHER -VIJUK SPECIALIST - FULL TIME**
CCL Label, an associated entity of Checkpoint System (Aust/NZ) Pty Ltd, is a global specialty printing company that provides innovative packaging solutions to the Healthcare, Home & Personal Care, Premium Food & Beverage and specialty markets worldwide.
Our Melbourne site focuses exclusively on the needs of its target market and services through state-of-the art equipment & facilities and exceptional people.
Based in Chirnside Park, we currently have a full time position available for a Print Finisher - Vijuk Specialist producing complex leaflets.
**Role functions includes, but not limited to**:
- Produce a variety of folded products on a variety of folding machines, including set up of multiple inline finishing units.
- Set up Vijuk and other folding machines in line with customer specifications.
- Load cut leaflets onto folding machine table, monitor and adjust folding machines during run to ensure optimum efficiency and quality output.
- Trouble shooting of fold errors.
- Check final fold standards against samples and specification to detect defects.
- Packing of leaflets in trays & boxes according to standard operating procedures.
- Complete job specific documentation.
- Provide complete training to other operators for the Set Up and operation of Vijuk folding machines.
- Undertake maintenance, adjustments, repair and cleaning of machines
- Consultation with Management regarding product development / machine capabilities
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
**The successful applicant must demonstrate**:
- Experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry
- Substantial experience setting up / running and maintaining Vijuk folders
- Experience training colleagues in the set up and running of a Vijuk folding machine
- Ability to work in a team, follow instructions and also work unsupervised
- Good communication skills (reporting to Production Manager)
- Stability, commitment and reliability
- Eye for detail
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Flexibility to work overtime & weekends
- Good Computer skills
This is a full time, permanent position providing an excellent opportunity to commence a long term career in a friendly, motivated and secure global packaging company, which prides itself on delivering a quality product and meeting our customers' expectations.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
