Seeking a Proactive Human Resources Leader

**The Organisation**

Katungul Aboriginal Corporation Regional Health and Community Services is a NFP organisation providing culturally attuned, integrated health and community services on the Far South Coast of NSW. **The Position**

**The successful applicant will**:

- Manage all areas of the people and culture functions throughout the employee life cycle;
- Provide advice and support in the management of workplace issues including discipline, employee welfare, performance and formal employment related matters including complaints, grievances and compensation matters;
- Manage systems and projects to improve processes and deliver operational efficiencies to provide effective organisational P&C practices;
- Coach and support the management team to ensure quality delivery of P&C services to the organisation;
- Develop, communicate and facilitate the implementation of relevant P&C policies and procedures to Katungul staff;
- Represent Katungul in relevant forums and where relevant tribunals and other bodies.

**You will also bring with you**:

- Tertiary qualifications in human resource management or other relevant field, and relevant experience in a senior HR or similar role ;
- Previous experience working within proactive recruitment and Talent Acquisition ;
- Strong understanding of workforce development and capability, including cultural capability and organisation capability ;
- Experience working across work health and safety ;
- Previous experience managing complex workers compensation claims ;
- Demonstrated ability to develop, lead and implement a broad range of contemporary people and culture strategies in a culturally appropriate environment ; and
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills and experience working collaboratively within a complex environment.

Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector or an appreciation and understanding of health and community services is highly desirable.

A current Working With Children Check, Australian driver’s licence and national police check is essential for this role.
