ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced payroll administrator to take responsibility for our payroll function, delivering accurate and timely services within the regulatory framework. Also responsible for business financial support, your day-today activities will be varied and include accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting. Therefore, you need strong attention to detail and sound prioritisation skills coupled with a helpful positive attitude
**Key duties include**:
Processing of all payrolls for the company accurately and on time.
Managing the company’s HR & Payroll system, ELMO, ensuring compliance with Australian laws and regulations.
Creating and processing month end payroll accruals and general ledger reconciliations.
Accounts receivable and payable functions.
Customer debt recovery and management.
Preparing year-end wages declarations and associated information to meet statutory obligations.
Assisting with inventory processing transactions.
Assisting with external audit data provision, reconciliations, and queries.
Providing support to HR with employment contracts and other administrative tasks.
Delivering payroll induction training to all new managers.
Responding to payroll and finance/support team queries promptly.
Administration duties and assistance with other functions and project work, as required.
This position is based at our head office in Batemans Bay, a picturesque seaside town on the NSW South Coast.
A Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance or payroll certifications are desirable. Experience with ELMO/Key Pay and MYOB Advanced or similar ERP is advantageous.
