Our client, a Queensland Government department, are currently seeking an experienced Principal Change Lead to join an established transformation program.

As a Principal Change Lead, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring the implementation of best practices in change management, communications and learning across projects being delivered. You will have a strong ability to strategically interpret project needs and impacts, providing guidance on implementation approach and deliverables. You will also be accountable for program change support, in particular program communications.

**Key Duties and Accountabilities**
- Co-develop and maintain the program's Change Centre of Excellence by creating a program change strategy, developing change, communications and learning templates, and highlighting best practice standards and governances for change, communications and learning.
- Deliver program-level change support, supporting communications planning and delivery of the awareness campaign for program status and project successes.
- Oversee change resources across projects being delivered under the program to ensure best practice quality controls are understood and implemented.
- Cross-reference change, communications and learning plans to identify opportunities for project synergies in delivery, collaborating with program leads to advise on strategy.
- Review change, communications & learning assessments/ plans, providing advice on best practice, strategic alignment, and feasibility.

Our client, a Queensland Government department, are currently seeking an experienced Principal Change Lead to join an established transformation program.

As a Principal Change Lead, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring the implementation of best practices in change management, communications and learning across projects being delivered. You will have a strong ability to strategically interpret project needs and impacts, providing guidance on implementation approach and deliverables. You will also be accountable for program change support, in particular program communications.

**Key Duties and Accountabilities**

- Review major change deliverables on projects, providing advice and/ or approval for quality control and standardisation.
- Prepare or contribute to the preparation of timely and well-researched presentations, communication materials, briefs and submissions on complex issues, including Cabinet submissions.
- Support program managers with preparation for inter-departmental meetings and represent the Department at meetings as required.
- Facilitate learning events and activities to provide product/ service knowledge, and support internal synergies and upskilling.
- Substitute and support project resourcing as required to ensure the effective delivery of change, communications and learning analyses, planning, content and reports.
- Report on change, communications and learning success at a program level.
- Other duties as directed and required to support program success.

**Role requirements**
- 5+ years' experience delivering change projects, including communications and learning plans and material, is an essential requirement for the role.
- Experience developing or working in a change centre of excellence or project management office will be highly regarded.
- Experience training, managing and leading a team will be highly regarded.
- Possession of qualifications in project management (e.g., Prince2), change management (e.g., PROSCI), communications and learning are desirable.
- Exposure to projects in a government or public sector environment is advantageous but not required.
- Exposure in water-related projects or familiarity with water management principles is desirable but not re
