Purpose of the role The purpose of this role is to collaborate with the Project Implementation Manager and the broader IWFM program team to facilitate the implementation of the IWFM program rostering solution to all HHSs within Queensland. This will be delivered through a culturally responsive, consumer/person focused business transformation program that meets the needs of Queensland Health staff while enacting directions and priorities to achieve defined outcomes, targets and key performance indicators. The role will work closely with the implementation team and business analysts to understand the business process impacts relating to the introduction of an enterprise rostering solution for Hospital and Health Service (HHS) staff. Your key responsibilities You will be required to fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the Queensland Public Service values.
- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Collaborate with the project implementation team, senior change specialists and the state
- wide business transformation lead to plan and deliver appropriate communications, business process analysis, change impact analysis, training and change activities to support the successful transition for staff to the new rostering solution
- Manage, identify, develop and plan select business change management deliverables to ensure the successful implementation of the IWFM Program will meet business needs
- Ensure strategic alignment to the realisation of business benefits by establishing baseline measures and metrics that are able to be monitored throughout the project lifecycle and post implementation.
- Initiate, influence and manage effective relationships with and between key stakeholders to understand business requirements, achieve high level engagement, manage needs and expectations, mitigate risks, and support change.
- Undertake the analysis of change impacts for stakeholders, and document key changes to processes and practices utilising relevant change management tools.
- Drive the rapid adoption of new concepts and processes through, not only change coaching, but by providing business facing support during transition and implementation.
- Encourage strong and supportive ownership, leadership and sponsorship through the use of effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business.
- Develop and maintain strong, meaningful and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote and advocate for the IWFM program and manage changing requirements for communication and engagement activity that supports the successful delivery of the rostering solution to the HHS staff
- Undertake change related risk and issues identification, documentation and tracking, and provide mitigation strategies and advice regarding implementation of plans.
- Managing the definition, documentation and successful completion of a large scale, complex change project in line with the IWFM program business transformation and business analysis methodologies.
